Transitional Kindergarten (TK)

 

Transitional kindergarten (TK) is targeted towards 4-5 year old children.

It serves as a bridge for the path from preschool to kindergarten, giving students time to build a strong foundation in their academic learning. Additionally, it provides a setting where students will develop fundamental social and self-regulation skills needed for success in school and life.

 

There are many benefits of TK:

• Children are better equipped to succeed.
• Families have an additional option to ensure their children have the fundamental skills and confidence to enter kindergarten.
• Schools benefit because children will be better prepared to succeed and less likely be held back in later grades.

 

Children will be in an environment which allows children to grow mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually through exploration in our TK program.
